With over 80 well balanced weapons to choose from, you don't have to wield a katana or semi-auto pistol to be a badass on the street. If you can hold it, you can kill with it. Prefer to dish out pain with your bare hands? Train in a number of martial arts including Taijitsu and Capoeira.
In Sindome, there are no character classes and there are no experience levels. You'll earn Unassigned Experience every day you play, points you can assign to your primary stats, your skills and more. You define what your character does through their actions and your roleplaying.
In a lot of RPGs, there is a huge focus on game mechanics. In others, there are no game mechanics. More than just a shared story, Sindome's coded features explicitly support playing a role and defining your character day by day.
Leverage your characters attributes across a range of skills from combat to creation. Four categories of skills exist: Science, Reflex, Subterfuge and Combat. Youll use some skills for survival, some for employment and others for getting into trouble.
Get the edge you need by having a doc implant the latest toys. Just be careful not to go overboard and suddenly find yourself not caring who you piss off.
Corporate power built this city, drives its economy and through the councils, controls its future. They believe that they can do anything... and for the most part that's true. Will you work for them as a corpie, fight against them as a mixer or simply leverage them for biz?
Seven primary statistics and 11 underlying 'sub-statistics' provide a robust way for your character to be defined. You have direct impact on the primary statistics and the game advances the underlying sub-statistics to yield a level of nuance beyond your typical roleplaying game.
Define nuanced descriptions for each body part, revealed or concealed as you wear clothing, armor or equipment. Get tattoos (or be forced) to show your affiliation or passion. Get cybernetic implants that augment your appearance. Blood, sweat, sewage. All show up in your appearance.
We use color in our text to denote various things. Combat hits and misses make sure you don't overlook the fact that you're bleeding or that your weapon just jammed. Highlights in location descriptions let you know what you can interact with.
Directly contribution to the game outside of your own roleplaying using our unique scripting language designed to let players and staff members create interactive scripts that drive character actions, responses to phrases, medical procedures, drug withdrawals and even dreams.
Play a gearhead obsessed with cars, motorbikes or aerodynes. Sindome delivers the future's flying cars. Can't afford your own wheels? No problem. You might be able to steal them, just watch out for security systems!
We respect the third dimension. We want you to look up, snipe down and race across the rooftops. Grappling hooks let you traverse buildings; paragliders let you reach impossible places. Use cybernetic eyes or a scoped rifle to gain the tactical advantage.
Browncoats and rich passengers are welcome aboard orbital transport to the orbiting space station Free Sky or maybe a data satellite. Work for your cabin rights or captain your own craft one day. Will your buffer panels survive re-entry?
