Just a place for me to mention any new corpie toys that find their way into the game. First of all, if you are a corpie without a progia-11, I recommend getting one. You can mostly all afford it and it's a status symbol. I was surprised today when I went through the corpie players only found progia-7s. Honestly, if you are a corpie and you see someone with a progia-7, that's like them walking around in rags (at least thats how I feel).
Progia-11's now have the ability to broadcast a contact directly to another players progia-11 (same room, with sic). try it out.

I agree on that post. I highly believe that most (if not all corpies) should had the best of the bests progias, I found it weird that many of them go 'economic' on those...not to mention the never paid sic bill but that's another matter of ic info which obviously I won't expand here....
Way to go though, nice addittion with the contact thing, it is nice seeing that even little things like those keep improving! *Thumps up*

To expand on what Snook said about SIC. It doesn't even have to be a matter of private SIC, if you are afraid your bill is going to run up that quick, invest in a encryption key. Nothing shouts corpie like having more than one encryption key.

An expensive SIC upgrade that allows for unlimited private messaging might also help mitigate the problem of corpies not paying their SIC bill. Maybe it could come with some extra flourish. like having your name show up as a special color on SIC messages to denote your super specialness, perhaps one you can choose yourself.

You have that via sic encryption.

I'd rather go with the encryption keys. And all corpies should have a Progia 11.
By IssacF at Feb 25, 2014 5:18 PM
I think there is a significant difference between encryption keys and what I proposed - with SIC encryption, you have to invite everyone you share your key to to every conversation, and you still let everyone know you're chattering via the encryption gibberish, so there's still incentive to use private messages even if you have your own encryption keys.

The idea is that corpies have the money to purchase encryption keys for everyone they regularly talk to over SIC.

But how would an unlimited one work out? It would have to cost a hefty sum.
By IssacF at Feb 25, 2014 5:21 PM
I do think it should be extremely expensive, which is why I also suggested it come with some kind of other noticeable benefit - making it a status symbol.
By BattleJenkins at Feb 25, 2014 5:22 PM
I'll kill the special sic idea now. I created the encrypted sic for this purpose. It is the mark of exclusivity.
By Johnny at Feb 25, 2014 5:25 PM
It's also extremely annoying to people who don't have it or can't afford it, which serves the 'status symbol' quite well.

It's also worth pointing out that the different Progias look very different. They don't just have varying features, a 7 is more like an old beat up Nokia from the 90s while an 11 is like the latest iPhone. You will look like a complete prat using a 7 in public in corpieland.
