Connecting Grid Terminals to SIC chips
More ways to have SIC connection and get hacked

Grid 4 idea :P Maybe there could be some sort of method that deckers can use to connect their SIC chip to a grid terminal, and if that grid terminal is one that has constant grid connectivity, then their SIC chip will also have constant connectivity. However, this will leave them exposed to having their SIC chip hacked.

Alternatively, it could be some like, black market chrome or something that's used to do it, or a modification to the Gridsight chrome.

Edit: Maybe this could also be used to get signal outside of the dome :P

A few things here:

- Your SIC id is associated with any grid accounts you register
- Deckers can already reroute signal to rooms that are in a deadzone via programs (but not to rooms where there will never be SIC).

We purposefully don't have SIC outside of the city. I don't think it is something we intend to change at this point.

Some terms don't require SIC signal and are using a different type of network to connect to the grid. It's only cheaper terms that require SIC.

Hacking a SIC chip is a cool idea, and maybe something we look at in the future.
