@notes QoL idea - auto note clones

I'll admit I'm definitely not the best at taking notes, and sometimes in terms of the vats very important information may be lost. And sometimes I forget when exactly I updated my clone to be able to sift through my notes of knowing what I do and don't know.

I think just a quick auto-note in a player's @notes every time a clone is updated would be a nice QoL.

I update my clone so often that it wouldn't make sense to have pages and pages of notes of just clone updates.
I don't see why it's pertinent for you to note when you clone
Knowing when you clone or update can be useful for remembering what IC info you know or don't know and the mental state you were in when you updated, as you'd be coming out of the vats in that same mindset.

For example, say you just broke up with your partner, updated, months pass where your character moved on, then they die and clone. Well, time to do that emotional work again. Which could be quite interesting as the other person may have fully moved on with their life and watched you do the same thing.

I like the idea, but not just an automated note, but rather something that details mental state. That being said, I don't want people sitting in the pod for five minutes writing that note.

Interested to hear others thoughts on this, as I have long believed it would be beneficial.

I often forget what I remember too if I play a character who's vatted multiple times. But it doesn't help when I don't note enough either, as then I'll forget which order it happened anyway. What if it creates a note when you update, then auto deletes your previous update following your latest?
For me given that vat gives out the time of my last update, I roll out @notes and see what was below the cutoff and take it from there to see what's missed. As I already note like crazy, seems to work for me.

But having to write a note when I sometimes update multiple times a day, on top of my regular notes? Please no.

I update very frequently as well and I don't want the extra spam of an autogenerated @note on top of my other @notes, especially since I often go back and reread my recent @notes to plan out what my character needs to get done.

Maybe it could be an option toggled on or off? I just think it would make my @notes too hard for me to navigate tho.

I think people should just leave a note using the existing note system, given the feedback here. I have added an OOC tell message suggesting people do this, during the clone update process.
