rearrange order

I think the order of the nakeds needs to be rearranged. The 'head' naked is after the eyes. I usually put the description of the char's hair and skull and the like in the 'head' naked. Problem is, when you are looked at, the 'eyes' naked is actually printed before the 'head' naked.

Make sense, or am I glitched?

How about I let you guys order it how you want? Then you can make the first sentence, the most noticable thing. Ofcourse, I'd reserve the right to order clothing according to coded rules and somehow let tailors control the noticability of something, but this would solve your problem and not break anyone elses description and allow maximum RP flex :)

Thanks for replying, Johnny, but I'm not sure I understand what you mean. At the moment the @nakeds order reflects the order in which a character's description is viewed on the screen.

Your @naked left eye is "not set."
Your @naked right eye is "not set."
Your @naked left ear is "not set."
Your @naked right ear is "not set."
Your @naked head is "not set."

We can't re-order those, and it is preferable (in my opinion only here) to have physical descriptions for bits of my character in the @nakeds so that clothing covers things up, or not. In the help system it says from the head to the feet.

I'm just talking about moving the @naked head to the top of the list.

If my johnny-speak is up to par, I think he's saying that, he could make it so you could control the order in which your @nakeds appear when someone looks at you.

Hiron is correct. What Nocturnal doesn't quite get is that if I just change the order for -everyone-, someone , somewhere, will bitch. And justifiably so. I would be changing the status quo for what so far, is only a problem for this individual.

By allowing the players control over the order of their body locations, I give them the freedom to change it to be however is best for them. And I can leave the order as is, not pissing in -anyones- Wheaties.

I've already taken the step of integrating body locations when it comes to clothing, cyberware, nakeds, tattoos and even missing limbs (dormant code). The next step is to pull the order from the player's preferences instead of from the master index of body locations.

Was this ever implemented?  I tried checking help files and such, and didn't find anything saying you can reorder your @nakeds.  If it isn't, not really a big deal.  If it is, I'd just like to know how.

No, it wasn't implemented, but we did change how it looks when you look at yourself of someone else.  It's broken into paragraphs that make longer descs much easier to read.
