The Admin Giveth, The Admin Taketh Away
Sindome is always under development.

Hello!

I wanted to address change. We make changes to the game multiple times a day. Sometimes, when there are a lot of admin on, and we are all working on our projects, we make drastic, sweeping changes that are very noticeable. Sometimes we make changes you might not ever notice. Background tweaks, damage tweaks, pricing tweaks, NPC tweaks...

This is how we operate. Sometimes we offer IC justifications for the tweaks/changes. Sometimes we tell you to act like 'it was always like that'.

Change is something everyone needs to accept. We tweak and change, add and remove, in a constant quest to find ever better game balance. Sometimes this involves making things more expensive, harder to find, or unavailable at places you are used to finding them. Sometimes, it means the opposite. Sometimes we realize that an innocuous change or addition we made at some point in the past had an adverse effect, and we seek to correct it. Sometimes we realize that a simple change we made had a hugely positive effect and we seek to reinforce it.

Either way, it's nothing personal. It's what we do. Roll with it. And definitely don't take it personally! You can always raise concerns or laud us with praise here on the BGBB.

Any change that encourages more socialization amongst characters is good.
My only problem is not knowing what is new or what is 'always been like that'. It seems when I comment about something new IC, I get yelled at for it always being there. When I ask OOC if something is IC-new or 'always been like that', I get yelled at for talking OOC about IC stuff.

I don't know what to do beside ignore it, but that's against my nature.

It's a bit of a catch-22. If it's new, telling you so would be giving you IC info. If it's always been like that, it would be fine to tell you so. I would say it's OK to ask if something that seems new has always been like that. try to check the BGBB. We usually post about big changes.
