CP fasion show

Came accross this story about a wearable technology fasion show on /., and as the reviewer described, it's simply too sureal for words. Here's the link.

It kinda felt like Buck Rodgers or Battlestar Galatica props meet year 2000 skinny models on a runway. Very strange stuff; Girls in super short skirts and tops with massive bulky helmets on their heads or white antenna's sticking out of an earpiece, vibrating dresses, mood dresses, dresses made entirely of nothing but gold… Wierd shit I tell ya.

-Kevlar

Loved the SVGA Glasses…
Wow. cyberpunk Fashion today.

Love it all…take note all you chummers making clothing items. I espeically liked the two girls stuck together in one dress. -THAT- is hyperfashion at it's finest. THAT is so culture clique.

Umm … have you seen Barbarella?

I think it's retro fashion, but I don't think it's cyberpunk fashion. Sure the inclusion of technology as 'pre-ware' style has CP elements, but the clothes did not strike me as classic CP. I don't think anyone in Withmore would wear those threads unless they were bored wealthy housewives looking for something to do between surgeons.

Jane Fonda in silver…......

Yes, and we don't need -any- corpie fashion ;)
Perhaps using a bored wealthy housewife as an example was a mistake….heh.
