Today, I kicked a new player off the game for being a minor. It wasn�t the first time and probably won�t be the last time either given the way we run things. Sindome is not the place for children. Sindome is full of adult situations, mature content and situations most of you probably wouldn�t feel comfortable explaining to your parents. That being said, we aren�t going to kick you off -just- because you�re a minor. Absolutely not. If your mature, or smart or just really good at RP, you�ll fit in no problem, as many of you have.
But, what it does mean is we�re not going to be as forgiving when/if you do step out of line. You screw up enough, don�t expect to get back on the game until you�re an adult. The game is for adults and you really shouldn�t be here, so when you break a rule, you -won�t- be.
Please don�t take this as a threat, its just a statement of policy. This policy helps keep the twinks at bay. Any 13 yr old can run around killing shit in EQ, but it takes a mature person to be able to RP and handle the social dynamics of Sindome.
Think carefully before you invite your friends to play. Sindome isn�t for everyone.
