The primary unwanted uses of LLMs or generative AI would include anything done to fulfill a job task or to make money. We consider both of these violations of Rule 1.E (https://www.sindome.org/rules/), as it is use of a system outside of the MOO to create a benefit for your character via automated processes.
Appropriate uses of generative AI could be creating prompts for you to base RP or content off of, helping to make something just for fun, such as a gift or prop, assisting with your @describe or @nakeds, or making a piece of art or crafted design that you do not intend to sell. Admin will not consider or police reports of this kind of use, so please do not xhelp about them.
The admin staff understand and acknowledge that any rules we may put in place regarding AI will be extremely difficult to enforce. These are largely community guidelines that we are setting down in order to curtail possible unfair uses of generative AI and establish mechanisms by which we can deal with offenders.
