TMC privacy error?

Hi! Been trying to vote for SD with TMC via the link that sends out through SYS MSG. I'm getting

"Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.mudconnect.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more"

Using Chrome because reasons unfortunately, but I was wondering if this site is still alright for voting? Gracias.

I get the same error on Firefox. It's been an ongoing issue with that site for many months now. From my understanding, it's up to the web admins of TMC to fix and they haven't been maintaining it.
This is an ongoing issue with TMC. Whoever maintains the website has been preoccupied for quite some time.
Ah okay. Thanks!!
I mean, it's probably alright for voting. What's the worst you think could happen if some man-in-the-middle were able to see your unencrypted web traffic to that site? What data would they be able to steal?

If you log in regularly, and they sniff your password, what damage could they do with it? What damage WOULD they do to you with it? What would be the consequence of someone using your account on that site? What would motivate them to make the non-trivial effort to do it? It's not an e-commerce site.
