Could be chrome, could be nanos, could result in having skin that's like a windshield heater, keeping you warm even when walking in snow and a bit negative temperature.

Could be roleplayed how say snow melts around your exposed skin, showing that you are nice and toasty despite the cold.

It's not in any way practical mechanically, but it's cool A-F, and lets people who wanna go skimpy in winter a way to do so.

I like this, makes it feel like the weather done by the dome is meant to punish the poor folk. The rich class just negate the weather with money.

If there's no mechanical implications, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to RP out the process of getting something like it and RP from there.

Some sort of catch-all chrome could be added for fluff like this so Rippers could at least see the line for it? IDK.

I mean, just RPing that I have something that does give me RP advantage seems… A bit like RPing that you got flash clothes when wearing depots?

Just because it doesn't give coded advantage, maybe a better way to use here, it can still help you in RP, where everyone is layering and covering up, you walk in your mesh top, thong and mini skirt, drawing all the eyes, while keeping nice and tosty skin - not shivering from the cold.

Maybe a fun way to do it is some generic "RP chrome" with various levels, works fior me!

I definitely think the RP requires a cyberdoc to do the surgery to get it in the first place, but chrome with no real advantage doesn't necessarily need a specific item. The character + cyber doc might be able to work with a Builder to get something.

I wouldn't mind if there was a class of "RP chrome" if it was cheaper than functional ones, adding more variety and affordability might make chrome more mainstream
