We currently have @Good-Answer, how tough would it be to add something that gives a point if we vote for the mud that day an displays a counter to give people more incentive. I notice we have fallen off the Top Mud Site's top 20 list when we could easily be in the top 10.

Studies show increased reticence of performing a desired activity if you give players a socially-visible score for said activity.

This works even if the score has no in-game use.

Want to throw it into karma but don't want to invalidate current karma scores compared to the ease of clicking a link? Make good-answers worth 10 karma instead of 1. Multiply all current karma scores by 10.
