Single-Use Data Copying Tool
A middle-ground for copying Grid data

While not being able to freely transfer or copy data between gridterms makes sense to prevent people from just having them permanently, I think a decent middle-ground could exist.

We could have a single-use, illegal(?) device, similar to existing devices for use with e-notes, which lets you copy a single item of data from one gridterm to another. You would copy it onto the device from one gridterm, and copy it from the device to another gridterm, with the device burning out afterwards. It could be purchased from the same place as those previously mentioned devices, or constructed, but either way would be fairly expensive to keep people from overdoing it.

Well, sometimes you may want to sell data to someone else without having to give them the entire terminal, for example. This way, you could do that, but it would be expensive for everyone.
