Ripper bombs

We could use more bombs in the game, so I'de like to make a suggestion for one.

A ripper or 'Bleeder.' This is effectively a better pipebomb, with razors and nails glued to the outside.

This bomb would cause a lot of damage to armor, and cause decent bleeding on those hit.

And maybe it works with a 'contaminate' command. where you take a vial of blood that has a disease, and use it to contaminate the bomb and spread the disease among those hit.

You're evil as hell. Sounds great!
I do like this quite a lot, though also I see it as highly priced option due to all them damage.
The frag grenade already pretty much has the same mechanics except the contamination thing. It's just not used because no thrown grenade, intentionally, causes as much damage as direct combat and people dislike that. It has other uses though.
pretty sure all grenades are not made by players. Could be wrong here.

But this was a suggestion for something that can be made icly.

I think if the explosives did more damage than they would be more widely utilized. There is absolutely a use for all of them, but if you're just using them to use them then they are kind of underwhelming and only ever played out by staff puppets and ambient reactions. I'd like to see them all have more bite!
I agree with mindhunter.

But I can also see the worry about overbuffing them.
