Recently there were some polls in game that had you select a response on a scale:
1: skip this question
2: 0
3: 1
4: 2
5: 3
6: 4
7: 5
8: 6
9: 7
10: 8
11: 9
12: 10 (the best)
Please enter the number for the option you wish to vote for - @abort to abort without voting
The mismatch between the selection number and the value is just poor design that can be easily remedied. In the future I would suggest laying out your response scale as:
1: 1
2: 2
3: 3
4: 4
...
10: 10
11: N/A
12: Skip
