Obesity/Health Problems
Half kidding half serious

How about introducing morbid obesity, diabetes, and or endurance debuffs for all these people who sit around eating burgers all day? It's so strange to hear all these top end solos or beautiful people talking about eating three double mushroom swiss vacon burgers per day. Surely after a week of this you'd start to show it.
cirrhosis for alcoholics

lung cancer for smokers

blindness for those who wear mustard yellow

a full immersive hunger and dehydration system where you also have to defecate

There's barely any, if any, health problems that come about from shotgunning five different hard drugs at once or being flatlined multiple times a day for months. While it is a bit odd from a theme standpoint, I doubt any detailed nutritional health system is coming any time soon.
Could we settle for not having several hours each day of SIC dedicated to burgers and pizza?
We get bored. It's an easy conversation starter. If you don't wanna talk about food then do something interesting that the rest of us can talk about.
Agreed, people do get bored, and if it starts conversations that shift to something else the better.I don't like sic policing as long as it's within theme.
But are all these people actually eating burgers, or is it players talking about what they like IRL? Genuine question here, not judgement or policing.
we're all consumers in the cyberpunk world, ads, food, violence. trying to shoot down the best form of advertising by banning people from talking about a new restaurant in game is a little silly and i'll talk about it if I like.
SIC is not OOC, people are not talking about IRL things in SIC, ever.
I don't really care for all the conversations about food myself but there's so much weird stuff discussed on SIC that it'd also be weird if just this were specifically prohibited or even limited. You can always just say something so unexpected that the tone of the conversation shifts immediately.
Not a huge fan of something like this. I personally want to play a cyberpunk RPG and not a diet simulator. Even if I did want to dip my toes into this kind of thing, highly active people tend to handle calories a lot better than desk job types. It doesn't bother me at all that very physically active types eat burgers and all that and aren't getting fat.

As far as having to hear things on SIC we don't like hearing, I get it but I also don't thing this is a major offender. Chances are it will die down in a few weeks after the newness wears off. Burger craze will go away and I'll still have to listen to pure D&D mechanics on SIC as if the game still exists as it is today nearly a hundred years from now. :P

Regardless, I want players to have more freedom to RP their character concept than not, even if I am not always a fan of the sentiments. :D

That settles that, case closed.
