Modifying SIC Amplifiers
Additional Modification choice

I would like to propose that another type of device modification be added to the game for the signal amplifiers that can increase the signal strength output of the device if it is in a location that still suffers from signal loss even with an amplifier. For balancing I would suggest that you have to pick one modification and cannot have both, so if you choose to use the other available modification, you couldn't overamplify or supercharge your modified signal amplifier and vice versa.

I think the added cost of the other modification would be a fair balance for this modification as well for increasing the effectiveness of an amplifier in these types of scenarios.

Interesting idea. Would this allow SIC in the Badlands for example?
This doesn't make sense. What network would an amp in, say, the badlands, even be connecting to? There's no IC infrastructure for it out there.
I don't know how much I can say but it seems clear that some locations just seem to have a little bit too much insolation from signal and Signal Amplifiers don't operate as expected but still operate in one sense, and in other areas they just don't work ever. My idea is intended to help the scenarios where Signal amplifiers still operate on some level and the boost could bring them up to normal operation.

I think giving signal to a badlands location might be too much.
