Lumbar and Fall Damage
Enhancing Minor Fall Protection.

At present, the SK Lumbar Decompression Prosthesis reduces all fall damage by 50%, which is a valuable effect. However, given the prosthesis’s complexity, cost, and the in-game lore describing its exceptional capabilities, it would be reasonable for it to fully negate damage from single-story falls. Enhancing its performance in this way would better align its mechanical benefits with its narrative significance, while providing more meaningful protection against minor falls.
Make the spine have module slots and make complete fall damage negation one of the modules- Use the module from Deus Ex: Human Revolution as inspiration, using electromagnets against oxygen to slow your descent.
I got requested to put this idea up. It already has support, so any other alterations probably isn't really worth it. Although, Johnny was hinting the Lumbar system could be made modular and take things like combat stim autoinjectors, so that kind of idea isn't actually too farfetched.
I like that second idea of having modules on the lumbar spine, I am not sure if this exists in game but it would also be nice if one of said modules could be being able to manipulate your joints/ spine in a way to fit into tighter areas and vents. And combat stim autoinjectors sound amazing. It would make sense people would rely on chrome more and have such advantages considering the setting. Especially if it can be used to be close the gap between midbe and max ue characters.
