Little Red Button That Does Nothing
Fun for the whole family!

Wouldn't it be cool if each corp had a little red unlabeled button that they were never told what it does except not to fuck with it? Maybe NLM's switches the brownouts around. PRI's messes with the weather temporarily. VS has one that releases drug dispersal grenades in the busiest Red locale. They could all have limited uses that renew on a cycle like the trading count on corpshare, allowing corpies to mess with Mixers in mostly harmless ways either a lot in a short burst or strategically to make new ones second-guess reality. Maybe there would even be consequences if anyone was found abusing them, but there's ways to distract NPCs long enough to do it once in a blue moon.
It'd be more interesting as another objective you're supposed to defend, or something in the vein of that. Though I believe that sort of stuff is good and we should see more of it (the corporate side messing with other corporations / mixers to enforce some hatred towards him).

Sounds like another McGuffin, and I'm all for that.

I like that idea! Though it may be a bit difficult to find a good way to make it vulnerable without more security cracking tools.
Nothing is out of reach in this game, you just need the right tools.

People are tools too, by the way. Or you know, coordinate with a GM and use bombs. Might be another good target for corporate security to defend / attack.

I could definitely see rival corporations wanting their hands on something like that. Imagine messing with the services your rival corp is responsible for at inopportune times. "PRI, what the fuck are you doing, why is it hailing rocks? It was smoldering hot a minute ago and I walked out in my shorts!"
