For example, they scan in a recycling chute - the chute has device commands that let them alter a given SIC ID's current bill. Notably: they can alter it both ways, up to the same 1k cap per go that the chutes have, and also up to a maximum of 3K or -3K or whatever.
Doing this would incur quite a bit of Grid heat, though scaled so as to be lower than the Other Thing you can do with city services infrastructure that generates a metric buttload of heat. Lowering someone's credit would always generate less heat than increasing it, so you can always counter-hire another decker to help you out if you've made an enemy of one.
This way, deckers can set up a more steady stream of income for people willing to trust them with their SIC ids.
Similarly, if you piss off a decker, they can spend time and program slots to just bump up your debt into the max. The available chutes would pretty quickly become hotspots for people to fight for control over since they'd be pretty lucrative.
