Let deckers mess with SIC credit
A new and exciting twist on the idea

Everybody's pretty well acquainted with the woes of SIC credit. Wouldn't it be neat if we let deckers play around with it a little?

For example, they scan in a recycling chute - the chute has device commands that let them alter a given SIC ID's current bill. Notably: they can alter it both ways, up to the same 1k cap per go that the chutes have, and also up to a maximum of 3K or -3K or whatever.

Doing this would incur quite a bit of Grid heat, though scaled so as to be lower than the Other Thing you can do with city services infrastructure that generates a metric buttload of heat. Lowering someone's credit would always generate less heat than increasing it, so you can always counter-hire another decker to help you out if you've made an enemy of one.

This way, deckers can set up a more steady stream of income for people willing to trust them with their SIC ids.

Similarly, if you piss off a decker, they can spend time and program slots to just bump up your debt into the max. The available chutes would pretty quickly become hotspots for people to fight for control over since they'd be pretty lucrative.

Fun idea, but maybe they have to be in the same room with the target?
Given deckers can already get SIC IDs whether you trust them or not, I see this being more prone to griefing than actually being beneficial.
Better yet. Give CYBERTECHS a way to fuck with Siccred. Deckers got enough toys rn
I think grid heat is inadequete for this. Grid heat is more of a 'this will take a lot of effort, and if you're not good or efficient or prepared enough, you're gonna get in trouble'. Some things should always get you in trouble, or pull you towards trouble, and I think there should be a system of 'marks' which ping to your SIC ID, or Gridmail account and can lead to more long term consequences for the more lucrative direct chyen hacking.
cybertech hacking a sic chip is a great idea bruh.
Of course it's a great idea. It's my idea.

That already exists. It's just player-dependent on the enforcement side rather than entirely automated, which I think is better long term.
