The current implementation of GridSight is very cool, but I think it would be even nicer if there was additional chrome deckers could buy that kind of link in with the GridSight connection. Like auxiliary processors, or storage, or modules to auto-run a specific program ID upon host expiry, etc, that all provide boosts or extra functionality but only to the deck the user is currently connected to via GridSight.
This could, additionally, open the decker up to more and more danger when their deck is being attacked via the Grid, as they now have a bunch of processors and shit stapled to their nervous system which an enemy decker could take advantage of (at least, while they're connected via GridSight).
