There should be a way to file off Serial numbers on Guns.

Erm, why file the inside of the barrel (which might possibly cause the weapon to misfire and/or make it less accurate since you'd be screwing with the way the bore controls the spin of the shell) when you could just….change the barrel?

As soon as we have guns that backfire and blow up your hand, we'll put in ways to fuck with the barrel bore.

Yeah, no dis intended but If you know anything about guns you know not to fuck with the turns of the barrell, unless you want a gun that is not only dangerous as all hell, but next to impossible to accurately shoot over 15 feet away.
