So picture this:

How about we add a functionality for expose to try and rip off other people's disguises?

Could make it work like:

Expose (person)
-> IF YOU GOT THEM GRAPPLED/UNCONCIOUS/TRUSTING: Lift disguise, works on all disguising items, no skillcheck

-> IF YOU DO _NOT_ HAVE THEM GRAPPLED/UNCON/TRUSTING: lifts disguise, works ONLY on cloth-like items (Poncho, hoodie, mask, wig), takes big skillcheck

I'm not a fan of this idea. Disguises are already smallworlded enough as is, and we don't need to make it easier for people to get through them. Or to encourage tearing them off. Ik, fallacy and all, but slippery slope.

The smallworlding is in approaching someone whose identity you're unsure of, and trying to remove their disguise by use of the suggested command. If you can grapple them then there are other ways to get their disguise of. All of which grant an opportunity for them to preserve their anonymity.

it simply makes sense for people to want to do this, that's why i feel like it's a good idea. if it's something people would realistically do when suspicious and especially in a place of authority or if the majority around is suspicious.. well, why should it not be possible? people have hands, don't they?

Can't you just grapple them and have someone else strip their disguise off?

You can do it this already in some form as said by others. Knocking them out unconscious and removing their disguise or you can get them to comply by asking them to remove if it you're like having the upperhand(You're grappling them).
