I know you can hide stuff behind certain objects, but perhaps more locations like that? Trash cans in fast food places, benches, open drainpipes, cracked concrete in walls

Just lots of places to shove a wallet or a package for dead drops. Don't put stuff in a cube. Hide it in a dead drop.

My understanding is that you can hide anything, anywhere. In any "room", whether or not that "room" is a street, or a closet, or anything in between.

Just use your imagination when you are telling your contact where to find it.

What Hek said. I feel like if there were a bunch of obvious places people were encouraged to use to place things, people would just start gaming it and routinely go through them all to check for chyen or items.

I would be more in favor of having something like short term lockers at NeoTransit, at the lev stations, etc. Where instead of a week, you set it for days or hours.

There's also the problem that hiding items is a visible action, so if you ever hide something in public, cameras will see it. So nobody would do it anywhere especially public anyway.
