Cinemas
Another reason to hate technology!

I feel the city could use some social activities to do in groups. And also more a much more defined "celebrity-status". I would enjoy seeing current TV celebrities getting paid by NPC / PC studios to act on a movie. Movies would be sort of short films written in scripts that will give revenue not only to the cinema, but to the studio.

Not only this, but it would also provide some good roleplay. Imagine getting to one street and seeing a group of cameramen and actors! A group of NPCs and PCs trying to salute them, or maybe shouting their complains! For sure, it would cause interesting scenarios everytime a movie is going to be released (say, once every two months).

Post your thoughts on this topic, if possible.

The only thing missing in-game right now to support this is the actual cinema. There is one, and it's close to readiness and there have been player-submitted movie scripts which could be made ready-to-play by the time the cinema is ready.

It's also excellent to create these things by roleplaying these out in front of cameras instead of just spending OOC effort to get recorded material into the game.

Anyway, email [email protected] with material if you're fired up to write anything. Or just do it, ICly.

Hey, thanks for the reply!

What do you mean by "it's closed to readiness"?

Close to being ready? Sounds awesome. Withmore has been needing more locations like this for a long time now.
Oh, I missread. Yes, I agree with Grok. Great news Linekin!
