Chrome Weapon Specialization
why can't I touch it

You should be able to specialize in your chrome weapon after it has been installed without having to actually be holding it in your hands.
That sounds like a pretty reasonable idea but it leads me to ask how do you specialize in it to begin with if possible? Do you have to hold it in your hands pre-installation?
According to responses on xgame, yes. I'm guessing this was an oversight since specialization existed before cyberweapons. Every weapon required you to hold it to be used prior to that, so it wasn't an issue.

+1 to this idea.

Back in 2009 Slither said they should be specialization. He said it was a code limitation. I wonder if it is still the case.
So, if you hold the chrome before it's in with your dirty digits, could it be specialized?
Might also be non-specialized to off set the fact that you can't drop/disarm/lose it.
It should be a specialization. And I request that It be made so. It only makes sense.

Def should be a specilization feature, now if it can be done or not is up to the coders.
I asked this question last year and staff responded that if you hold the cyberweapon in your hand before it is installed you can specialize in, and also agree you should be able to do it while it's installed and active since it would be out and kind of showing in your hands as held I think.
