Briefcases
oh the potential!

I know that containers got pulled because people were doing what people do, and abusing them horribly. I'm pretty sure I was guilty of it myself, we all just got a little too carried away, and when we started putting out favourite aricraft carriers into boxes, suddenly someone realised we were taking the piss, and for our crimes, we now all have gear scattered over our apartment floors. (well, I do anyway)

To get to my actual idea though..

Briefcases

My idea was that we could have briefcases that are essentially like wallets. You could only put in them the stuff you can put into a wallet, for example, money, business cards, photographs, and unlike wallets, letters too. If a briefcase could hold more money than a wallet, then you could have the fun of people making moviesque deals, where briefcases full of money are exchanged, lost, stolen, all those kinds of fun and games.

I don't think you could really abuse them like other containers were, and it could create some pretty cool RP. Not to mention if a GM wanted to start a plot, leaving a briefcase full of money around and then having whoever found it deal with the consequnces of whatever they choose to do with that is always good for a laugh.

Oh, and it'd be nice if maybe you could lock them or something, too.

okay, I've finished rambling now :)

I second that notion
Hrm… I like it...
Just let me know if i'm wrong, but for that to work correctly, the container would need a wieght requirement….or a max amount of chyen that can be placed inside.  And isn't that why containers where pulled untill the wieght system can be fixed with them?
What, you mean like wallets do?

All set up and ready to go. Would have been done by now if things hadn't gone to shit.

Basically the old containers were part way through a rework that would only let you put so much weight into a container and only put objects into a container if they were short enough (on the longest side) to fit.

But anyhow, yea. No official comment seems to have been made, so there's my unofficial comment on how things were.
