Better Grid Feed
User engagement metrics overhead

Suggestion:
- Keep track of all new posts, new replies, new feed posts, and new nodes.
- Update the "g feed" command, so that instead of having feed-only posts, you get an encompassing feed of "all new content", NLM-curated for you.

This idea will make the grid more engaging as there is a reason to "catch up with it", sorta like the addictive algorithms of social media.

Themely (ICly) it can be explained as the "AI algorithm" feeding you "relevant content for you".

Thoughts?

Is this not already achieved by the 'notifications' page and recently-edited node list?
I've not gone out of my way to get gud at 4.0, but I do know I rarely look at the feed unless someone announces a new post on pubsic.

I might be more inclined if NLM did what Villa suggested? I'm not sure.

Baguette, yes it's similar, but my suggestion is to 1. keep track of "new content" (sorta like an unread list) and 2. to merge node updates and posts.

RatchetEffect, a NLM person being basically a hypeman for Grid content makes sense, and could certainly be an IC role.
