Tool forcing unwanted emotions on people

After watching the argument over SIC, an idea occurred to me.. would it be possible to alter some messages on tools? For example.. a certain tool forces your character to smile when using it, when the situation doesn't call for it, and it doesn't suit your character or the moment.

I don't understand the complaint. Are you suggesting a new tool should be able to do this or suggesting currently available ones get changed? Are you talking about a script?

I believe they're talking about a script that happens when you use a tool, like a medical tool, that makes your character emote as they use it and say stock phrases.

While I like the idea of scripts for tools to make it more realistic to RP, I also agree that it shouldn't make your character say anything or give any facial expression/emotion.
