Thermal Googles

How do they work? Besides showing human shapes (for anything alive) and green objects of undefined shape. Do you get used to it and start getting out a gun clip from an e-note or its like that everytime?
Actually, you probably -shouldn't- be able to tell that anything is there if it's room temperature.  But though that would make their use more realistic, it would make things alot more difficult to interact with.

To answer your question, no you don't "get used" to the infra-red type vision.  If that were the case, it'd make the game seriously unfair.  People would wlak around all the time with their Thermo-Optik Goggles on, and their WJF helmet Thermo Vision turned on.  It wouldn't be fair if they could see both in infrared and in normal vision at the same time.  In fact, that'd be damn unrealistic as -well- as being rather twinkish.  Anywho, just thought I'd throw some of my own ramblings toward the subject, since it didn't seem to be getting answered.  ;P

Oh, and if I'm wrong, just throw something at me…  But I'm pretty certain I'm right.  Heheh.
