I wanted to suggest some things about Guests and newbies.
1) If ya can…meet up with guests at the front gate (or around there)
2) take some time to ICly (or oocly if it's not IC for your char to do so) show them around. It's a prime oppertunity to make contacts.
3) Make some suggestions as to interaction, do's and don'ts (ICly and OOCly)
4) HELP THEM LOVE THIS PLACE LIKE YOU DO!!!
We need to keep increasing our Playerbase, YOU need to help.

Damn you Gally! You stole my evil plot for dome domination! I was gonna kill everything with kindness!
But really, it is a great thing to do, meet up with mew players and Sam_Guests when you can. It'll help pull in more players to the dome.

Guests have told me time and again that @request when they put in there email it doesn't ask for the confirmation code so that they can make a char. now I'm pretty sure all of you admin types are aware of this, but some people (aka guesties) would prefer if it would work first time, anyway that's enough ranting from me

@register/@request works fine. Any problems with it are completely down to the inability of guests to read the information presented to them and do as instructed.

I'm all for founding the Official chapter of "Kill all the lowly Newbies unless they learn to be very careful foundation", the principle of this group would be to help remind newbies that they should not think they can walk around gangland red with impunity. I know its hard being a newbie I was one once upon a time, but we need to bring some of that gritty realism back to red and start havin somemore gun battles down there, you know people like Mordino, Devon and Buchenwald killing randoms left and right, Anarchy and stuff.
