Quitting/Storing Characters
Can you do it?

I've been having a lot of fun playing Sindome since I discovered it in early June. It's a funny well made game with great RPers. But I'm starting to feel disillusioned with the game. I've been considering quitting a couple weeks now. I was convinced to stay a bit longer after interesting IC city-wide events a couple of days ago. But something last night has really discouraged me and really bummed out. I'm starting to feel all this effort I'm putting into my character is achieving absolutely nothing both IC (which makes sens with the setting, however), OOC (no rewarding experiences or plots, etc.). Which really sucks, but I DO like the setting and the game and everything.

Just to clarify, it is a good game, but I'm not sure if it's for me.

Is there a way to store or delete my current character? I'm not sure if I'm going to completely quit Sindome, I might just lay off the game for a few months and come back to it. I just don't want to suicide my character IC/deliberately klll them just because I no longer want to play OOC. And it doesn't feel right having my character lie in a @quit coma for weeks until he's deleted. Is there just a simple delete option if I talk to the staffers? I'm not going to quit yet, I might think about it. But I'd like to know if there is a tidy way to get rid of player so I can factor it into my decision.

Nevermind. Now irrelevant. Please ignore and mods delete if you see this, please. Wish you could just edit posts, but it's no big deal I guess.
Well, let's answer the question anyway. So that others who have it can find this.

Characters don't have to be deleted. That happens automatically after several weeks without a login.

Characters can be "stored", if you know you'll be absent from the game for an extended period. Use xhelp to ask for a coffin.

If you don't want your character deleted by the reaper, and you know you won't log in for many weeks, xhelp and ask to be put on no-reap status.

Some of this stuff is in one of the helpfiles but I couldn't find which one.

Oh, that's helpful Vetra.

I knew about the storing a character but I didn't know about the no-reap status option.
