OOC Problem with IC NLM mailbox

Ok admin.. I have a nasty little bug that annoy's the hell outta me concerning the NLM mailbox ever since my char Roy died so long ago, I've not been able to open my NLM board Mailbox without a bug occurring that shuts down the NLM terminal… I think it has something to do with the fact that a mail addressed to Roy was actually posted to my next char's mailbox.. ironically this mail has passed on to Tanaka as well.. This problem has been a recurring annoyance that I've passed off as an IC problem for waaaay too long... I've gone so far as to use the MOOmail system as a means to communicate ICly to an offline char due to the fact that I cannot seem to contact them via NLM.. please please please look into this... because it's both annoying and I'd simply love to know what Roy's killer had to say to him after he perma'd.

*Ponders shutting all the NLM's in Withmore in an attempt to find out what the hell is in that NLMmail*

If it's any consolation, my player alt is stricken by the same problem. I know the cause, I've dumped the entire NLM QuickTerm code to hardcopy in my attempts to find a fix, thus far I'm stumped but I will be looking at it more…
Just to put into perspective, NLM Quickterms = 50+ verbs and 34.5 pages of hardcopy in -SMALL- print (size 8 font.)... Looking at that to attempt to debug them was my first ever venture into MOO coding, those 34.5 pages being my bible and reference in coding almost everything I've done since then...

Anyhow, point is, the code involved is -vast- so hunting out the final 2 or 3 minor bugs is needle in haystack territory...

Let me get this straight, your following Damon's code as an example?

We're fucked!

*runs away screaming*
