nlm terminals

Okay, I'm seeing the terminals all over the place. I can examine, look, and get the help on them. But I can't figure out how to actually use the commands on the terminal to use it.
The terminals are currently going thru a major overhaul, as the ones in game have a lot of bugs and crazy issues. But to answer your question.. all commands have the = before them. I'm taking most of this stuff out of the help function you can access once you turn it on.

=o  will turn it on or off

=? brings up the help menu

=x exits from the current menu

=p posts a new message to the current board

=n views the next message on the current board

=b views the previous message on the current board

=r shows you the current message again providing a # will show that message

=d deletes the current message if you are the owner

=u undelete a message if you are the owner

MAILBOX SPECIFIC COMMANDS

=m opens your mailbox

=c composes a new message. Recipients can be separated by commas or spaces

=.  ends and sends your newly composed message

You enter a board by entering its name, pretty simple.

*revives old post*

NLM Terms used to be txt based in-moo?

omg… I might have died.

That's going back some… Damon was working on them until they were replaced with the web version. Don't think they were ever complete or bug free, but it was the first MOO code I ever touched... they were a motherload of code. Happy days.

Personally I prefered them in-game, but I'm old school... MUD/web hybrids always feel cludgy.

Did anyone notice that the post was made by Orel, but it has my icon, tagline, and posting count?
