Okay.

So my car's tank is half empty, right?

I drive to the gas station, tank is down to one bar by the time I get there.

So I fill it up.

Then I drive back to the bank to get more cash because gas is prohibitively expensive and I have shit I have to buy.

My tank is half empty again.

Anyone seeing a problem? :P

The gas ratio was just fine before. Methinks people'll be using the sewers again :P

Like this, the cars' only use is as a ferry between express tubes. Not really worth the investment anymore.

I should warn you however, some vehicles consume more fuel than others. Sometimes style comes at a cost.

Yes, just like in real life, where gas is so expensive, I should walk the 7 blocks to school. Or trudge through liquid shit to get to the bar and have a drink.

Will people use the sewers again because of this? Possibly. I'd like to think that most players are a bit more IC than that, though.

They're not ment to be used 'a lot'.

They're for trips to the more distant reaches of the dome, and destinations beyond, for transporting groups, and *gasp* to support RP. They're not ment to be used to go between the Westinghaus Apartments and the Drome, and back again. That's why you won't see them there.

They are in heavy use in other parts of the game.
