AFAIK "all" of the operating tables, patient gurneys, etc. have an auto-message on them along the lines of, "You lie down and stare up at the blood spattered ceiling."

That's thematic for the Mix. It doesn't line up with all of the other locations in the city where there are operating tables and similar places for patients to lie down for medical treatment.

This isn't true. There are, without a doubt, operating tables with different messages outside of the mix.
