PDS 2.0
You are freaking out, fleshbag.

I've put together a baseline template of 100 PDS tells and things. It needs further curation and refinement but it is a start. Feel free to jump-in and add/substract.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/19LmK4QRZw5yPMApVQE-EiOEIHfLmRDOqJhWCJK-YJKk/edit?usp=sharing

The tells are very good overall, but I'm not a fan of the forced thinks. I know there's an argument of "the condition causes invasive thoughts" but being dictatorial about how a person's (even sick) internal thoughts might sound is not a particularly great idea since it kind of challenges the player's agency in a way that I think will get people to just gradually ignore them over time.

I'd recommend adjusting the forced thoughts to be more tells that are kinesthetic in nature. Readout shenanigans, more fixations on ordered technological stuff, more warped anti-flesh pattern recognitions. These are great since they give people hooks to emote their own responses off to, especially when there's so many.

Love this! I’m also not the biggest fan of the forced thinks though… I think it could probably better be described kinda like how nanos tell you how you’re feeling throughout the process. Also GMs see thinks, right? Would all these thinks spam them?
Instead of forced thinks, would a 'think' equivalent tell work? Maybe each $PC is assigned a default but configurable Good_idea/Bad_idea script adjacent variable which is accessed by this script. This way, you can choose your own machine god.

@Svetlana brings up a really good point on spamming the thought-police too.

Thanks everyone for your constructive feedback, commentary, and contributions to the script. It's real close to being done and I've updated the comments to explain the overall intended design. The ideas thread here https://sindome.org/bgbb/game-discussion/ideas/update-pds-scripts-2241/ is also a great reference source.

Hoping someone can pick up the torch and run with it!

Just boosting this, is there any chance that this might be possible to implement? I enjoyed contributing it, even just a small amount. It's supposed to make the PDS experience more fun OOCly for players.
