Skinny Puppy - Cleanse Fold & Manipulate
In the very ugly future of 2021, a world-weary courier (who carries info in his head) takes one final run from Beijing to Newark, his storage capacity dangerously overloaded with volatile data sought by a huge, ruthless corporation. Intriguing premise, written by William Gibson and directed by artist Longo, goes absolutely nowhere, as uninteresting characters mouth laughable dialogue against a landscape of urban hell. Despite the computer graphics, this is cyberclaptrap. Runs about 15m. longer in Japan.

Rammstein - Sehnsucht
Their guitars grind like an overbearing ear-bleed machine....The Uberserious guttural dilivery of...Till Lindemann lends the band a melodramatic sense of melody as muscular as it is mannered....a soundtrack less for World War II than for its desloate aftermath. Sehnsucht (yearning) is music for weird people. It is also bizarrely catchy, especially the whistled hook in Engel (angel) and the Europop overtones of Eifersucht (jealousy). A very odd record indeed. --Paul Elliott

KMFDM - KMFDM
This album, nicknamed "symbols" or "curse", just because there is no real name, is one of the best KMFDM cd's I've heard. The first album of KMFDM I heard was Xtort, and to be honest, I actually didn't like this CD at first. After you listen to it few times though, you start liking each song, until you fully appreciate them all. The guitar in this CD pulses out, and the overall sound just grabs you. Raymond Watts adds his terrific vocals to some songs, and Tim Skold adds his own blend of music to "Anarchy", which I've found is a favorite of most KMFDM fans.
