Having consumed a number of these this winter, I think this is a great list!

However, it's missing Serial Experiments Lain which is a travesty which must be rectified.

Fun fact: Lain came out in 1998, so its existence is canon in the Sindome universe.

Cyber City Odeo 808 is a quintessentially cyberpunk anime well worth watching. It's only a 3 parter as well so easy watching.
